Actor-activist Chetan gets bail

Bengaluru: Actor-activist Chetan Kumar Ahimsa who was arrested recently for his tweet on a Karnataka high court judge hearing the hijab case, was granted bail by a Bengaluru court on Friday.

The bail order says that Chetan must cooperate with the investigation and attend all dates of hearing. Chetan was arrested for his tweet against Justice Krishna Dixit of the High Court. The court granted bail subject to the furnishing of a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two sureties of the same amount.
