Interstate gang of thieves arrested

Yeshwanthpur police have arrested three interstate thieves who had allegedly entered the house of a businessman to rob him of valuables using a fake pistol.
The incident took place on March 15 around 1:30 pm near Rajeshwari school premises in Yeshwanthpur. Three accused entered the house of a businessman and threatened the family using a fake gun.
According to the complaint, the accused tried to snatch a mobile phone from an elderly woman in the family. The daughter of the businessman raised an alarm. Scared that they will be caught, the accused fled the house, the complainant stated.
A probe was launched by the police leading them to the trail of the accused. The arrested have been identified as Amit, from Uttar Pradesh; Ramesh and Munavar Singh from Rajasthan. Police recovered a gold ear ring and toy gun from the accused. According to the police, the accused were habitual offenders and have been arrested on several occasions in different states.
