Guv calls on Naveen’s family in Haveri village, consoles them

Gover nor Thawar Chand Gehlot called on family members of Naveen Shekarappa Gyangoudar, a youth from Haveri who died in shelling in Ukraine last month, at Chalageri village in Ranebennur taluk of Haveri district on Thursday.

The governor met his father, Shekarappa Gyangoudar and offered his condolences. Shekarappa explained to Gehlot that his son had gone to Ukraine to pursue a medical course in a medical college and was killed when he came out of the bunker to get food.

The governor offered floral tributes to the portrait of Naveen. He promised all help from the government. Naveen’s father thanked the government for helping in bringing the mortal remains of his son back to India.
