Industrial accident: Woman dies

A 28-yearold woman, employed at a plastic factory located near Nayandahalli, died after her veil reportedly caught in one of the belts of a spinning machine, police said.

The incident took place on Saturday around 5:15 pm when Shahnaz (name changed) allegedly went to switch off the machines.

Police said that while Shahnaz was trying to reach the power switch, her veil allegedly got stuck in one of the belts of a machine dragging her head between spinning gears.
