‘High flying’ chain snatcher held

Chennammanakere Achukattu police have arrested a notorious chain snatcher, hailing from Rajasthan, who would visit Bengaluru by flight especially to commit thefts.

The accused has been identified by the police as Umesh Kattik. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused accused used to commit theft and leave the city by flight. As per the police records, the accused had been involved in at least seven chain snatching and theft cases since December last year.
