At BIAL, drunken fan attacks Sethupathi

Kollywood star Vijay Seth- upathi’s arrival in Bengaluru was marred by an ine- briated fan who attempted to break through the ac- tor’s entourage for a selfie. Sethupathi, who was walk- ing out of the Kempegowda International Airport on Wednesday surrounded by tight security, declined the man’s request for a selfie, having allegedly smelled the alcohol on his breath.
When Sethupathi’s per- sonal assistant attempted to push the man away, he responded by hitting him. Visibly shaken, Sethu- pathi attempted to retaliate but was placated by some- one in his entourage, who told him to maintain social distancing protocol and simply walk away. Sources close to the star said, “The man was inebriated and pounced on Sethupathi from behind.” They added that the actor was in town to shoot for a reality show and had just landed in the airport.
