BU Vice-Chancellor Venugopal felicitated

Bangalore University felicitated Vice-Chancellor, Prof.  Venugopal K R, who completed 42 years of service at the university on Wednesday.

Hundreds of teaching and non-teaching staff, research scholars and postgraduate students attended the event held at the Jnanajyothi Auditorium at Central College in Bengaluru.

Prof. S.C. Sharma, Director, NAAC inaugurated the programme. Padmashree and Director Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Dr. C.N. Manjunath released the felicitation volume titled ‘Saraswati Puthra’. A documentary, Saraswathiputhra, detailing the the life and achievements of Prof. Venugopal, was released at the function.

Prof. N. R. Shetty, Chancellor, Karnataka Central University, Kalburgi, Dr. Nadoja Woodey P Krishna, Honorary Secretary, Sheshadripuram Education Society, Prof.L.M. Patnaik, INSA Senior Scientist NIAS, Prof. M. Kotresh, Registrar, Bangalore University, Prof J.T.Devaraju, Registrar (Evaluation), Bangalore University were the guests for the programme.
