Face masks compulsory in public places

In the wake of steady increase in Covid-19 cases in the State, the Department of Health and Family Welfare has made wearing the face masks compulsory in all public places, public transport and shopping malls with an immediate effect.

In a press release here, D. Randeep,Commissioner, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Bengaluru, has mentioned the number of Covid-19 cases across the State in the last ten days. The Technical Advisory Committee has suggested various measures to check this trend.
