Woman commits suicide due to harassment by in-laws

Bengaluru: A 26-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging, allegedly due to harassment from her husband and in-laws in Ashwath Nagar. The deceased was identified as Madhushri.

It was revealed that she was married to a person named Kiran six years ago.

The matter came to light on Monday evening, and the parents of the woman have filed a complaint against her husband and in-laws of Madhushri alleging harassment which resulted in her death.

The HAL police are investigating the case.
