NSUI held protest at BCU

Bengaluru: Student activists of NSUI ( National Students' Union of India) staged a sit-in protest at the Bangalore Central University, calling for the scheduled examinations to be postponed immediately.
The students have alleged the university of not providing enough lectures and taking the exams. Lakshya Raj V, NSUI president, said, “The university is planning to conduct exams for the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester. This is unfair to them as the university has not been taking the lecture regularly. Many of the classes were cancelled, or the teacher didn’t show up.” The students are also demanding that the exam schedule be changed.
“The exam timetable is illogical. We have no gaps in between. If the student is not taught well and has to study by themselves, they need more time to prepare for the exam,” added Lakshya.
The university is refusing to answer questions about the allegations.
