Mr Bommai, will you fill up three vacancies in Cabinet?

Bengaluru:
With the ruling BJP dragging its feet on expanding the Karnataka cabinet, work in three key government departments- Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Forest, Environment and Ecology and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has reportedly been paralysed due to the absence of the ministers concerned.
This has become a cause of concern for bureaucrats as the vacuum is hampering development works and implementation of announcements made in the State Budget 2022-23. Sources say thousands of files pertaining to these departments are pending. The department of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj is without a minister since K.S.Eshwarappa resigned after the suicide by a contractor who accused him of corruption
