Surgical strike by city police: 108 people arrested for gambling

Bengaluru: A major surgical strike against the gambling dens operating in the city by the CCB led to the arrest of at least 108 persons allegedly involved in ‘AndarBahar’ game.

Based on credible information, the CCB sleuths raided a club near Indiranagar and allegedly found members belonging to various states involved in gambling and betting.

Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime (CCB), Raman Gupta, said with the arrest of 108 people, the police seized Rs 10 lakh in cash from the place. A case has been registered at the Indiranagar police station.
