The pressure to be different has reached all actors and directors. On the back of Banaras, directed by Jayathirta, one more film exploring the sci-fi concept of time-loop has been announced in Sandalwood. Director H Lohit, who is directing the crime thriller Mafia for Prajwal Devaraj has announced another film with the actor. Lohit is known for his horror films like Mummy and Devaki.
So not surprisingly, he is bringing horror to the sci-fi genre also. The new film will be a sci-fi horror with the time-loop concept. The team recently did the ‘script pooje,’ symbolising the launch of the film. Most of the cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized and the team hopes to go on floors by the end of December. “I narrated him (Prajwal Devaraj) this story while we were still shooting Mafia.
He liked it and immediately agreed to be part of the project. It took some more time for me to complete the script work. I know how cooperative he is during shooting and it was a pleasure working with him. I wanted to work with him again and I am glad it is happening so soon with back to back films,” Lohit said. Lohit’s regular technical team will be part of this project too.
Nobin Paul will be scoring the music while Jebin P Jacob will be the cinematographer. C Ravichandran will be the editor. “The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized in the next two weeks. I am looking forward to this film which will be a unique experience for the audience,” Lohit said.
