Drugs on darknet: 3 women caught red-handed

Bengaluru: Personnel from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) caught three women red-handed while consuming drugs at an apartment near the Madiwala police station limits.

Sources within the Madiwala police said that the NCB officials raided the apartment based on credible information regarding the women procuring drugs through the darknet. As the officials raided the flat, they found three women consuming drugs and arrested them. It was revealed that the women hail from Uttar Pradesh, and one of them has links to the dark web.

“One of the three women had ordered drugs through the dark web. She is an MBA graduate working at a private company here. The officials suspect that the woman is connected to a drug peddler,” sources from the police told News Trail. The three women are currently being interrogated by the officials.
