Phone snatchers are trying ‘bloody’ tricks, beware!

Bengaluru: It is high time for the police to come up with a permanent solution to curb the chain and mobile snatching menace, as the offenders are turning increasingly violent in the city. In the latest incident that took place on Tuesday night, a resident of Srinagara was left with a bloodied face after two unidentified assailants threw a sharp stone at him and grabbed his mobile phone.

The incident reportedly took place when Akshay Kumar, a resident of Hanumanthanagar was walking near Srinagar BMTC bus stop. In his complaint to the jurisdictional police, he has claimed that the assailants threw a stone at his face and snatched his mobile phone.

“It all happened within seconds before I could realise,” Kumar stated in his complaint. According to sources, the injured Kumar was taken to a hospital and is currently under treatment. Based on his complaint, the police have initiated a probe to nab the miscreants.
