
Student, fitness geek end lives in city

Bengaluru: A final year law student was found hanging from the ceiling of his room on the terrace of his house in KG Halli police station limits here.
The KG Halli police have taken up a case. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday afternoon and came to light after the parents went to the terrace in search of their son, in the evening. The deceased was identified as Rizwan, 25, a student of Al-Ameen College of Law in the city.
Following preliminary investigation and based on the statements of Rizwan's friends and relatives, the police said they suspected the student was depressed after being scolded by the College Principal. However the police said that the exact cause of his extreme step was yet to be ascertained.
According to sources, Rizwan got married in 2020, but chose to pursue his studies further. His wife was reportedly residing at her parents’ house. On Tuesday, Rizwan returned from his College and went to the room on the terrace. Alarmed by his long absence his parents started searching for him in the house.
Upon reaching the terrace, they were shocked to see their son hanging from the ceiling. The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem analysis. In another incident in the Avalahalli police station area a fitness enthusiast Srinath, 25,was reportedly found hanging inside his rented accommodation in the city on Tuesday.
Srinath, a native of Srinivaspur in Kolar district allegedly committed suicide. It was disclosed that he was pursuing a diploma in pharmacy from East Point College in the city and was staying at the rented room along with his friend in KR Puram.
The matter was reported to the police in the evening after a friend found Srinath hanging from the ceiling of his room. The police said they were yet to ascertain the cause of his death. Upon receiving the news of Srinath's death, his family reached the city and alleged foul play in the sudden death of their son. A case has been registered at the police station and a probe is underway
