Congress accuses PM Modi of ferrying people from Goa for his Karnataka rallies

Bengaluru: The Congress party in Karnataka has once again accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party of ferrying people for their rallies.
This time, they said people from Goa were roped in to swell the numbers in his election rallies in the state. Previously, the party had alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party had brought people from other parts of the state to the opening ceremony of Shivamogga Airport by Modi.
“Facing opposition in Karnataka, the BJP brought people from Goa to Narendra Modi’s rally to maintain dignity. The PM has brought misfortune to Kannadigas,” Karnataka Congress wrote on Twitter. It also said the BJP will be shown the door in Karnataka even if the PM holds hundreds of rallies in the state. The allegation comes amid preparations for the Assembly elections scheduled for May 10.
Top leaders from Congress and the BJP are expecting to put up a close fight, so continue to take to the streets across the state in high-pitched canvasing. Including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all senior leaders of the BJP are campaigning vigorously ahead of the election. In a rally held at Ankola, Modi accused the Congress of “abuse culture”.
He once again made it to the headlines saying that Congress hates and abuses him because he destroyed Congress’ corrupt system. On the other hand, the Congress has been levelling corruption charges against the BJP, “even in their attempts to woo voters”.
