Over 2,50,000 students brace for CET across Karnataka

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 on Saturday and Sunday. The exams will be held in four different sessions for physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology papers.
Each paper will be conducted for a duration of 80 minutes and will include multiple-choice questions. As per the Authority, 2,60,000 students have registered for the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET). Among the registered candidates, approximately 1.4 lakh are girls and 1.21 lakh are boys.
The KCET will be conducted across 592 examination centres statewide, with 121 of them located in Bengaluru. Candidates can check their exam centre on the KEA website. To appear for the KCET 2023 exam, candidates must have passed the 12th standard examination with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.
Candidates who have appeared for the 12th standard examination in 2023 can also appear for the KCET 2023 exam. The KCET 2023 exam will be held for admission to professional courses in the state of Karnataka, including engineering, medical, dental, architecture and other courses.
The KEA will declare the results of the KCET 2023 exam in June 2023. The KCET 2023 exam is a very important exam for students who want to pursue professional courses in the state of Karnataka. Candidates must prepare well for the exam and make sure they reach the exam centre on time.
