Temporary no flying zone around Taj West End hotel

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The City Police Commissioner on Monday issued an order prohibiting flying of drones, UAV’s, glider aircraft and all small aircraft and non-scheduled aircraft across one kilometer radius of Hotel Taj West End, from August 15 to August 20, in the city.

As a part of G-20 4th Digital Economy Working Group Meeting and Digital Economy Ministers, a meeting is scheduled from August 16 to August 20 at Hotel Taj West End in Bengaluru.

Foreign delegates, VVIPs and other dignitaries are expected to participate in the event and will be staying at the hotel.

On recommendation of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Division, Srinivas Gowda, the Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda has declared “Temporary No Fly Zone” around the Hotel within the radius of one kilometre from 9 am of August 15 to 2 pm of August 20.
