
"Handicrafts splendour at Chitrakala Parishath; brings glitter to Varamahalakshmi festival"

Bengaluru: The "Indian Haat Festival '' an exhibitioncum-sale of handicrafts at the ChitraKala Parishath has brought an element of tradition and glitter to the forthcoming Varamahalakshmi festival.
The exhibition showcases special handicraft items from different parts of the country. This exhibition-cum-sale will be held till the 27 August which as expected attracts huge numbers to its venue.
The manufacturers at the exhibition are selling their products directly to the consumers at cost-effective prices. Goods of good quality artefacts, sarees, household items, hosieries and colourful sarees are part of the sales.
Apart from these, the stalls sell ornamental items, intricately carved handicrafts and designer clothes in the exhibition.
The exhibition saw Jeevitha Jagdeesh, an artist who has a spell on life-style; inaugurate the exhibitioncum-sale in an atmosphere of glitter and tradition.
"This meaningful exhibition is to be experienced. This has added an element of tradition and glitter to the Varamahalakshmi festival. We get to know the lifestyle of other states as well," she exclaimed.
The venue attracted college students- both boys and girls, families, older people and children who appreciated the diversity and variety of the exhibition-cum-sale.
