
Karate school at Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A Style / School as Kenei Mabuni ShitoRyu Karate School Of India recognized by All India Karate – Do Federation at Bengaluru claims to have ben imparting good quality education in the Arts and Sport of Karate in the Shito-Ryu Style recognized by the AIKF.
“We have been imparting Karate sport in the State of Karnataka for 38 years and we have classes in many districts of the state including Bangalore, Mangalore, Udupi, Chitradurga, Davangere, Gulbaraga, Raichur, Bidar, Kolar, Chikballapur Bijapur, Bellary and Hubli-Dharwad.” The school boasts of over 7000 students.
“Our emphasis is not only in teaching the fine art of Karate for self defense, but also to train our students for participating in the State, National and International competitions,” says Renshi.
R. Ganesh, the chief instructor Ganesh gladly informs the News Trail that his school has brought laurels to the state of Karnataka for the Last 35 Years consecutively by bagging prizes and medals in the National championship conducted every year by the All India Karate – Do Federation and proudly produced First SAF Games Karate Medalist from the District of Gulbarga, namely Vinod Bhoma in 1999.
“So far nobody had broken the record in karate in the state; the first women National Silver medallist Sensei. Pushpa. S and her prodigy Anusuya, were our students trained in the Shito-Ryu Style,” he beams with pride, adding.
Notably, its chief instructor Renshi R.Ganesh is 6th Dan Black belt and was at World Karate Federation, Tokyo in 2008. He is the first person from the south India to gain the feat.
