Brigade Foundation to renovate Venkatappa Art Gallery in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In line with its objective of enhancing Community development and promotion of Art and Culture, The Brigade Foundation, the CSR arm of the Brigade Group, has signed an MOU with the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage to renovate the renowned Venkatappa Art Gallery in Bengaluru, today.

The MOU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Mr. Siddaramaiah and Mr. M R Jaishankar, Executive Chairman, Brigade Group, along with a host of dignitaries from the Karnataka Government and Brigade Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jaishankar said, “It is a matter of pride for us to partner with the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage to take up the renovation work at the Venkatappa Art Gallery in consultation with the department. The revitalized gallery will make a significant contribution to enhancing the existing rich history of art and culture in Karnataka.”

Brigade Foundation will take up the renovation work of Venkatappa Art Gallery in the next few months and has set itself a completion goal of approximately nine to ten months from the date of commencement.
