Cong attacking our local leaders, fumes HDK

Bengaluru: The JD(S) legislature party leader HD Kumaraswamy has alleged that his party leaders are being subjected to assaults by the ruling Congress, referring particularly to the beating of Chintamani corporator Agarahara Murali.
He said that the murder of a JD(S) worker in Hassan Krishna Gowda and the beating up of one Ashwath in Holenarasipura in the same district was proof of the existence of a pattern.
The former chief minister alleged that if the police and home department are biased and if they don’t take corrective measures, party workers would take to the streets.
“The incident of miscreants attacking JD(S) leader from Chintamani and city corporation member Agarahara Murali is condemnable. The criminals who committed this act should be identified and arrested and strict action must be taken against them at the earliest,” Kumaraswamy said.
“The government and the Home Minister should take strict action in this regard. If not, the party will wage a fierce struggle,” he added.
