B'luru: Woman falls from 5th floor, dies

Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a 31-year-old woman died after she accidentally fell from the fifth floor of her apartment in Doddabanahalli of Kadugodi in the city on Sunday.

The deceased was identified by the police as Kushbu Ashish Trivedi. It was learnt that the incident took place in the morning when the woman was cleaning a shoe rack when she accidentally lost her balance and allegedly slipped from the window to her death.

Kadugodi police have taken up a case and are probing it further.

According to sources, Khushbu hailed from Gujarat and was married to Ashish recently. The family resided on the fifth floor of the Vindhyagiri Apartment here.

Following the incident, a severely injured Khushbu was rushed to a hospital where she died without responding to treatment.
