Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar emphasised Bengaluru's stature as the first choice for multinational companies establishing their offices in India at the panel discussion by the Bangalore Realtors Association India (BRAI) to commemorate the association's successful 25-year journey.

Bengaluru, a city known for its dynamic real estate landscape, showcased resilience and growth after the pandemic.

This growth was the focal point of discussion among real estate developers at the The celebration event brought together industry leaders, including Irfan Razack, CMD, Prestige Group; Raj Menda, Managing Director, RMZ; Ramani Shastri, Managing Director of Sterling Developers; Jitu Virwani, Chairman and Managing Director of Embassy Group; and Farook Mahmood, Managing Director of Silverline Realty and Founder of BRAI. The Deputy Chief Minister, N Jayaram, former Minister, Roshan Baig, and MLA Shantinagar, NA Harris were also present at the event.

Reflecting on Bengaluru's evolution over the past 25 years, Irfan Razack, Chairman and Managing Director of Prestige Estates, highlighted the city's commitment to quality development over mere return on investment. He praised Bengaluru's resilience, stating that the market continues to thrive post-pandemic.

Farook Mahmood noted the substantial growth in Bengaluru's suburbs, transforming them into self-contained mini-cities with all the necessary services.

These areas are now attractive to younger residents looking for homes. Acknowledging the influence of technology in every sector, the real estate industry has adapted various technological solutions to cater to the preferences of the next generation.
