Bengaluru: A person was booked for allegedly circulating copies of fake orders from the Karnataka government offering funds for developing infrastructure for the minority community in Bengaluru Rural district.

Based on a complaint filed by the Secretary of the Waqf Board, Karnataka, the Vidhana Soudha Police in Bengaluru have registered a case against an accused, identified as Nikhil.

It is said that the accused had claimed that he had obtained a contract of Rs 4 crore from the Waqf Board towards development of minorities in Doddaballapur.

Similarly, two separate cases have been filed at the Vidhana Soudha Police Station after fake order copies alleging recruitment of contractual posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) was being circulated which also mentioned that the contract-based employees who are already working under the scheme will be made permanent by the Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Department.
