BTP continues to crack whip on traffic offenders

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The West Division Traffic Police in the city booked more than 801 cases against motorists involved in traffic violations on Tuesday. According to the police, 332 cases were booked against vehicles driving on the wrong way while 128 cases were booked against motorists for parking their vehicles in restricted zones.

Further, 16 cases were booked against motorists for parking on the footpaths. The police caught seven people who were found driving in a rash and negligent manner and booked them in relevant cases.

At least 21 vehicles got their wheels clamped for flouting traffic rules. For other traffic violations, the West division police booked 269 cases against motorists on city roads.
