Lions Club of Sarvagnanagar welcomes new leadership

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Lions Club of Bangalore Sarvagnanagar celebrated its initiation ceremony for the fiscal year 2024-2025 at Bhagini Hotel, Horamavu. The ceremony included the initiation of eight new members and recognition of past achievements under the outgoing president, Ln. Leela Devi Srivastava.

Service activities showcased the club's impactful contributions, such as scholarships for female students, support for cancer care, the empowerment of women through sewing machines, aid for the transgender community, and distributing rain jackets to those in need.

These initiatives were sponsored by the club with the support of Ln. G.K. Usha Kumari, Ln. Ajit Babu, and Ln. Priya Ajit. The event marked the welcoming of Anshu Prakash Srivastava as the new President, along with his team.

Over 200 guests attended, including Second Vice District Governor Lion Raju Chandrashekhar as the Chief Guest and Ln. H K Giridhar, who highlighted the club's dedication to service.

The club was felicitated for its commendable work by Past District Governors IPMCC Lion B.S. Rajashekaraiah, Lion B.S. Ravindra, Lion Ramesh Rao, and I VDG Lion Akash Suvarna.
