Young woman's friend stabs man he found her with in city park

NT Correspondent: Bengaluru In a shocking incident in the city, the friend of a young woman allegedly stabbed a man who was sitting with her in a park. The incident took place near KEB Park under Sadduguntepalya police station limits on September 15. A case has been registered against the woman and her friend Siddu based on the complaint lodged by Hitendra Kumar (58), the victim of the stabbing. Both have been detained. In June, the woman had joined a clothing shop owned by Hitendra Kumar in 9th block, Jayanagar.

But she left the job after 2-3 months. Hitendra Kumar, who reportedly got attracted to the young woman, called her on September 14 to meet her. According to the FIR, both of them met at KEB Park near Udupi Garden Signal in BTM Layout. Hitendra reportedly confessed his love for the woman and both of them, according to police sources, met at the same place the next day.

While they were sitting in the park, the woman's friend came on the scene with a knife and an argument ensued following which the accused allegedly stabbed Hitendra in the stomach and back. Hitendra is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
