Submit report on all parks, grounds and lakes: BBMP chief tells officials

Chief civic commissioner Tushar Girinath has instructed officials to submit a report on the current status of Parks, playgrounds and lakes in the areas of South Bengaluru on Tuesday. This comes at a review meeting, where Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) chief Girinath is in the midst of a public grievance meeting in all eight zones.

He instructed officials to visit all the parks, playgrounds and lakes in the South Zone of the BBMP and submit a report of it within a month. Unauthorized businesses in the Gandhi Bazaar market, the increase in commercial activities in residential areas of Chickpet, the stalled construction of a four-storey community hall in Gurappanapalya were the other points of discussion in his meeting with South Zonal Commissioner Vinoth Priya.
