
CSIR-CFTRI to host network meeting on probiotics, fermented foods

Mysuru: The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR-CFTRI), Mysuru, in collaboration with BioNEST, is organising a network meeting on probiotics and fermented foods. The event, conducted by the Department of Microbiology and Fermentation Technology, will take place at the institute's campus in Mysuru on 14 April. This network meeting aims to bring together experts, industry professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in the field of probiotic products.
The event will focus on the latest advancements, innovative applications, and emerging trends in probiotics, including their role in gut health, immune support, and overall well-being. Participants will engage in discussions, presentations, and interactive sessions, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. It will also provide an opportunity to explore new product developments, regulatory challenges, and market opportunities, promoting partnerships and growth within the probiotics industry. Members of probiotic-based startups and enterprises, clinicians, gut microbiome researchers, academicians, nutritionists, and food scientists will participate in the event.
