Retired IAF officer wife murdered in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 70-yearold retired Air Force offi cer along with his wife has been murdered by unidentifi ed assailants at their posh villa on the city outskirts on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Road. The incident came to light on Tuesday.

The deceased are identifi ed as Raghuraj and his wife Asha, 63, residents of C 21 in Eagleton Villas in Bidadi. The bodies were found in separate rooms. The accused have killed the couple by smashing their heads and other body parts with a hammer. The couple have been living in the villa for the last few years.

The police suspect it could be a murder for gain. The role of the security guard behind the murders is being checked, as he has gone missing after the murder. The role of the maid servants is also being checked. The Bidadi police have registered a case of murder and are further investigating.
