To new beginnings: Al Ameen College welcomed its latest batch of MBA students recently

It is a momentous occasion for Al Ameen College to welcome the new batch of MBA students and spark their interest and drive them deeper into becoming successful in life with positivity and enthusiasm. Dignitaries were present to encourage students, provide them with further insights, and give peer-tested tips for an effectuate knowledge driven learning experience at Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies on 24 February, 2022.
The Principal Dr B. A. Anuradha in her welcome address motivated the students to be focused and successful. She said that the success mantra in the corporate world today is survival of the fastest. She said the world has many business opportunities for students to capitalise upon.
The Chief Guest for the programme was Karthik S Iyer, an IIM(B) graduate and Managing Partner of Gurukul Ventures and Founder MD of PE Insights, a leading research, consultancy and advisory company. He spoke on the importance of preparing the students for a career, especially in this era of cut throat competition with new industries, new corporates, new jobs all racing to face the globalised market. He asked the students to pay heed to lifelong learning along with curriculum, to be data driven, skill oriented, to be focused, work hard and adapt to perseverance and have a social obligation to make this unfair world a little fairer and to be successful.
Zubair Anwar, Hon.Secretary of AlAmeenEducational Society welcomed the freshers to the Al-Ameen family. He spoke about the vision and passion of their founder, the late Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and how the Al-Ameen movement had grown over the years under the founder’s able leadership. He advised the students to be on the forefront to create wealth because it’s not just important to take care of one’s wants but the purpose of life should be to give back to the society also. He said this is the way to gain satisfaction in life by uplifting the underprivileged and economically weaker section of the society. He wanted the students to excel with passion through a spark from within and have the power to see an opportunity in every calamity. Ahmed Shariff Siraj, Vice Chairman of Al-AmeenEducational Society, in his presidential address spoke about his association with the founder, the late Dr MumtazAhmed Khan. He asked the students to become successful products of Al-Ameen like many of the alumni and wanted the students to utilise their time productively, as college life is valuable and should be cherished. He said that “our job is to see that you are placed well in life” and stressed the need to be disciplined in life.
Backpacks and planners were distributed to the First Semester MBA students as a welcome gesture. Dr. Abdul Rizwan Shariff, Vice Principal of Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies thanked the dignitaries for their valuable thoughts which would go a long way in inspiring and encouraging their students.
