Man stabs wife in front of kids

Bengaluru: In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly killed his wife by stabbing her in front of his children in Ramanagara district on Sunday.

Police have identified the accused as Zaheer Pasha, 40, an auto-rickshaw driver and a resident of Shamanna Garden in Bengaluru.

His wife was a resident of BM Road in Ramanagara. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused was addicted to adult websites and after seeing a particular video, he suspected that his wife had acted in it.

He began harassing her, and two weeks ago she was hospitalised after he assaulted her. On Sunday, they had an argument and an enraged Pasha stabbed his wife multiple times as their children watched in horror. Following the incident, he fled the scene. The police have registered a case and launched a manhunt.
