After getting station bail, Siddhanth flies to Mumbai

After a day-long inter rogation on Tuesday, the Bengaluru police released Siddhanth Kapoor on station bail with a caveat to appear whenever summoned for questioning. The actor shared a selfie from a flight in the early hours of Wednesday.

Siddhanth Kapoor was arrested following a raid at a rave party in the city during the early hours of Monday. As per preliminary reports, the actor was detained along with six other people after they had tested positive for drugs.

Speaking for the first time since his arrest, Kapoor said that he has been cooperating with the police investigation. “I was at the hotel and there was an investigation going on. I have been cooperating. The Bangalore police have been really good, they are doing a great job. They should continue what they are doing to save many lives,” the official statement from the actor read.

Siddhanth’s lawyer Praveen Muguli also released a statement on the case, noting that Siddhanth will cooperate with the police and go to Bengaluru whenever he is asked to. His lawyer said, “The alleged offences are bailable in nature.

On Monday, Siddhanth was released on bail. Today he came for a statement. The police have recorded the statement. He will cooperate and he will come for investigation purposes. Anytime he’s asked to come, he will cooperate with the police. The matter is under investigation. I can’t say anything now. If this had really happened, the police will file a charge sheet,” he said. Meanwhile, the city police are trying to find if Siddhanth peddled drugs.
