Work on flood-prone Noah Street begins

On Thursday, Shivajinagar’s Noah Street saw workers filling potholes with wet-mix and levelling the road. This followed News Trail’s intimation to the Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad regarding the situation of the areas in the constituency after rains.

The bustling Noah Street was prone to waterlogging after rains. The shop-owners on this street often suffered due to rainwater entering their shops

On Wednesday, News Trail contacted Rizwan Arshan regarding the meas[1]ures taken to control dam[1]ages due to heavy rain. The MLA’s reaction that he would visit the constituency[1]cy after returning from Davangere was reported in Thursday’s edition. He had also told News Trail that he had instructed officials to act on complaints related to rain.
