After a photograph reportedly from a Domino's store in the city went viral on social media, the pizza chain replied to the post put up by the customer.

Dominos_india – a Twitter handle of the multinational pizza restaurant chain, said that the firm adheres to stringent 'world[1]class' protocols to ensure hygiene and food safety.

"We have zero tolerance for violations of these operating standards. The incident brought to our notice will be thoroughly investigated, and based on the findings, appropriate measures will be rolled out. Rest assured we remain committed to doing everything necessary towards ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers(sic)," Domino's tweeted.

While some Twitter us[1]ers lauded the multina[1]tional chain for its swift response, others asked if there will be any action taken at all. "When this news become old , no one remember and they are just waiting for this by the statement "investigation" (sic)," a user tweeted in reply.

The photograph had revealed the unhygienic condition at a Domino's store in Bengaluru where mops and toilet brushes were found hanging over trays of pizza dough.
