Professor held for sending sleaze video to a girl student

Bengaluru: The city police have registered a case against a professor for allegedly sending a child pornographic link to the instagram account of a girl student. The accused was identified as Madhusudhan Acharya, professor at a prestigious institution near Yelahanka, sources said.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which monitored the video link sent by the professor to the student's account, reported the matter to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) which further informed the CID about the sleaze video.

The North-East Cyber Economics and Narcotics police officials were handed over the case based on which the police tracked the IP address and the professor was taken into custody
