Bengaluru: A science exhibition, Evolet 2022, was held at Sophia High School, Bengaluru, on October 21 and 22. The exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest, Padmashree, President of the Koramangala Residents’ Welfare Association along with guests of honour Dr Annie Kurien, chief editor of World Wildlife Fund publications for marine turtles and Vanitha Devi R, scientist and engineer, UR Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO.

With the official inauguration of the exhibition, Evolet became a working model of enjoyment interwoven with enlightenment. The exhibition included a number of events like Jarvis, Eutopia, Synergy, Apothem, Technopolis, Enigmas of Nature, Quadrasol, Bionova and Visual Art.

The exhibition had just the right mixture of learning, living and loving – from artificial intelligence aids to nature's bountiful rarities. It covered topics of waste management, environmental hazards and their impact, apart from technology, mathematical applications, robots and mental health.

The event demanded a call for action in order to save mother earth. Everyone involved with the school exhibition felt the day was well spent. “One to be proud of, as we could see the progress we have collectively made.

On display were nature's rarities and miracles and a realistic approach to saving Mother Nature, while enjoying technological advances,” observed a visitor. The collective representation of students was enriching, making each one of them think scientifically.

“Students very enthusiastically used unique ideas to showcase their talents and ability to make the science exhibition a success,” said Shoba Joshy, coordinator of the exhibition.
